And that isn't even going to factor in the egregiously
high price of housing in the last year.  With a median
increase of 14% in housing prices, salaries are coming
in nowhere close enough to mitigate the damage.  

While it may be argued that some will be unavailable
to afford to buy, it bears remembering that, if
housing prices spike, so, too, does the cost of
rentals.

Now, add to that the inflationary cost of gasoline,
with the incremental cost of all items that must be
delivered via a fuel-consuming vehicle, and that
salary figure dwindles further.

Indigo, wondering whom she will offend by THIS post
while gathering cardboard to prepare for the future.
