The Days of ’76 Museum in Deadwood, South Dakota is seeking applications for
a Director of a new $6 million museum complex who is dedicated,
self-motivated, professional and always pursuing excellence. This is a
salaried position responsible for the start-up and day-to-day operations of
the Days of ’76 Museum with supervision from the Board of Directors. Salary
is negotiable based on experience.  Applicants should have a minimum of five
years’ experience in the museum field or bachelor’s degree from an
accredited institution in History, Museum Studies or other as appropriate.
Experience with fundraising and grant writing critical. A complete job
