Days of ’76 Museum Director Position Available

The Days of ’76 Museum in Deadwood, South Dakota is seeking applications for a Director of a new $6 million museum complex who is dedicated, self-motivated, professional and always pursuing excellence. This is a salaried position responsible for the start-up and day-to-day operations of the Days of ’76 Museum with supervision from the Board of Directors. Salary is negotiable based on experience.  Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ experience in the museum field or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in History, Museum Studies or other as appropriate.
