The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) has added a workshop to the 2009
AMM Summer Workshop Series.  AMM and the Midwest Registrars Committee (MRC)
will present the workshop, Simple Methods for Identifying Materials in
Museum Objects at the Logan Museum of Anthropology at Beloit College in
Beloit, Wisconsin on Friday, July 10.  The workshop will introduce
participants to the techniques and resources available to correctly and
safely identify materials in museum objects.  The registration fee is $50
for AMM or MRC members and $75 for non-members.  A registration form with

In addition, AMM has rescheduled the workshop, Step by Step: Building Your
Museum Membership Program to coincide with the MRC workshop.  The Step by
Step workshop is scheduled for Friday, July 10 at the Wright Museum of Art
at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin.  The registration fee for the
workshop is $40 for AMM or SMAC members or $60 for non-members.  A

scheduled for Friday, June 12 at the Art Institute of Chicago.  AMM is
collaborating with EdCom to present this workshop.  The registration fee is
$50 for AMM or EdCom members or $60 for non-members.  A registration form
