The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) has added a workshop to the 2009 AMM Summer Workshop Series. AMM and the Midwest Registrars Committee (MRC) will present the workshop, Simple Methods for Identifying Materials in Museum Objects at the Logan Museum of Anthropology at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin on Friday, July 10. The workshop will introduce participants to the techniques and resources available to correctly and safely identify materials in museum objects. The registration fee is $50 for AMM or MRC members and $75 for non-members.
