That's interesting! Our weddings traditionally have champagne punch and
non-alcoholic punch plus coffee. The punch is usually on one end of a
long table, all silver or crystal service, and the coffee is at the
opposite end, silver service. Friends or close relatives of the bride
are honored to serve at those appointments.
We are in the "Bible Belt" so many weddings do not have alcoholic drinks
at all. They *do* have punch made with sparkling white grape juice. My
county is "dry." We have to purchase wines, etc., in neighboring
counties who are "wet."
