Check this website. It is the American Institute of Conservation. Look
under "Becoming a Conservator". They have quite a bit of information.
Good luck!

Subject: student question
Hello,
I have a general question. I am a student In the Museum Studies
program, but I am very interested in conservation. I have not had a lot
of
experience with science courses and I was wondering if anyone could
give me some advice as to what courses are the most beneficial in
helping me prepare to go into this field of study. Any suggestions would
be most helpful. Thanks.
