The Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum is seeking a Distance Learning
Educator to lead a team of educators and other museum staff in the
application of existing and emerging communication technologies. This team
will deliver Adler educational resources, including exhibits, content
expertise, collections, school curriculum support and family learning
activities, to the broadest possible audience.  This position will report
to the Director of Education.

A Masters Degree in instructional technology or other closely related
fields of education is required.  Some background in physical sciences is
preferred.  At least three years of experience in a distance-learning
environment, specifically the design, development, production and
evaluation of instructional components and experiences delivered via
interactive video and other digital technologies is required.  This
position requires strong organizational skills, effective oral and written
communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as both a team
leader and a team member.

The salary for this position is commensurate with education and experience.
