We have a summer camp for kids currently in 3rd through 6th grade. It is a small group each week - only 20 kids. We do not split them up by age - the range of ages are welcome at each week.

Part of this is to experience multi-age learning experiences, as early 19th century schools would have offered. We do sometimes arrange the kids by age at the work tables for craft activities - so the younger kids may get additional assistance if needed.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Camp question

I have a question for you all...how many of you have camp.

If you do-do you split up the kids by age?

How do the parents deal with that?
