Hi everyone,
I hope you are well. On behalf of the team, I would like to warmly invite
you to join us this evening (7PM ET / 4PM PT) for Considering Art :
Considering Portrait | Stephen Price
Focusing on the intersection of abstraction and representation, Stephen
Price's <https://stephenpriceartist.wixsite.com/portfolio> urgent work
builds an emotional and psychological experience. As an artist, Price
actively pushes beyond the replication of the archival photographic images
that often inspire his large-format works, deviating away from that of the
indexical toward the rendering of a more visceral and lived experience.
This highly charged embodiment, and with it the transformation of printed
images, results in creating a practice rich in layered media, transitory
materials, and the emergence of a new physicality of texture.
In this tour, we embark on some close looking. Together we ask:
Just what constitutes a portrait?
Where is this work located?
What do you see?
Register below for your FREE e-TICKET(s) and join us LIVE Wednesdays at 7PM
ET / 4PM PT https://www.eventbrite.com/e/169176805379
The team and I are looking forward to seeing you later.
All my best,
Matt
