How fun is that! I'll have to contact them and learn more about it. It
would be a fun novelty for our tinsmiths/seamstresses to recreate!

Just for information sake, the Hagley Museum has a patent model of a
horse hat with a built in compartment for putting ice to keep the
critter cool. It is green cloth with tin compartment.  Rob Howard
