The Southwest Studies Center at Fort Lewis College in Colorado had a
very good collections management database application which they
developed as part of an IMLS grant, and as such they made it freely
available. It requires MS Access (it's not stand-alone). I can no
longer find the contact information for the project on their website,
however..... perhaps someone else on the list knows who to contact about
it?

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] collections management software
I am volunteering on a community project and we are looking for a simple
software (not Past Perfect) to inventory local historical artifacts
related to the paper industry in western MA. Those using it are not
registrar collections management staff - is there anything anyone might
recommend that does NOT need to be a Cadillac of collections data
software - objectives, it is easy to learn to use, and low cost.
