Dear Fellow Listers,

We're looking to store oversized architectural drawings and blueprints
rolled up. (Flat file drawers may not be an option, even though ideal.)
The price of 2" dia acid free tubes is pretty high, considering we may
need up to 4,000 tubes. So, we're going for regular tubes. We're
thinking about putting a barrier between the acid paper tubes and the
drawings, consisting of .001 Mylar. Does this make sense?

In addition, we will roll the drawing along with archival, unbuffered
stock around that tube. This paper will have to be 53" wide or so. Does
anyone know of a vendor for this type of paper, in rolls?

Any and all input would be appreciated.

Thanks, Remko
