Gallery Assistant, Contemporary Art Gallery, New York
For our world-renowned New York City Contemporary and Post-War Art Gallery
client we are seeking a Gallery Assistant. The successful candidate will
assist with all aspects of managing the gallery's day-to-day activities,
including answering phones; liaising with clients and the public; managing
the Director's travel plans and schedule; assisting with openings and
special events; providing support to sales and curatorial staff; other
duties as required. The ideal applicant will have at least 2 years'
experience working an administrative role in a major New York art gallery
and have superb communications, organizational and time-management skills.
BA in Art History or equivalent and fluency in French required. Salary to
45K with benefits. An excellent "ground floor" opportunity for a polished,
discreet, team-oriented and enthusiastic professional to join a blue-chip
