Hi Chris,

Hapers Ferry, Frederick, Hagerstown are all about a 90 minute drive to DC
through intense traffic. It is beautiful there especially Haper's Ferry.
You won't be able to take the Metro though. You would need to take the MARC
commuter train into Union Station (DC) and then take the Metro.

I didn't mean to make living and working in DC sound hopeless :-)
One just needs to be creative and persistent. I live in town on Capital Hill
and hardly ever drive my car. I take the Metro pretty much everywhere.

I just need a bigger place and have found myself priced out of the current
market and having to look at the 'burbs.

Good luck to you!
Theresa
