Site Curator

 

Watson-Brown Foundation, Inc. seeks a combination house museum curator and director of educational programming.

 

Responsibilities include managing, preserving and interpreting historic house museum, managing and cataloging its collections, managing public tours, advancing existing educational programs. 

 

Candidate must possess passion for southern history and historic preservation.

 

Educational requirements include a M.A. in history, public history or similar discipline.

 

5 years curatorial work in historic house museum or similar environment.
