We have a very large number of photos that are improperly framed with no
mat or with a mat that is not acid-free. It will cost a lot of money if
we decide to reframe them. I'm wondering what priority we should give
this project. Many of the photos have been framed in their current
condition since the turn of the century. Will it be worthwhile to
reframe them now, or is it the case that the damage is already done by
this time?
