Help! We are preparing an exhibit, and need suggestions on how to display a
couple of wigs/hairpieces. We would like to avoid using mannequins, wig
forms, styrofoam heads, etc., as our space is limited.

Does anyone display wigs in a simpler manner? The wigs will be in
plexi-fronted boxes affixed to a panel, and the exhibit will be up for 18
months. I envision a small stand or form which will support the wig, but
can be hidden. Would simply stuffing the wig with acid-free tissue work?

Please respond directly to me at [log in to unmask] if you have
ideas, as we receive messages in digest form and will not get replies to
the list until tomorrow.

Thanks so much for your help!
