Position Opening: Development Officer

The Shaker Museum & Library, a private, non-profit organization to
collect,
preserve and interpret Shaker life and history, located in the Upper
Hudson
Valley in New York State, seeks an experienced development professional
to
plan and execute fundraising efforts, including corporate and foundation
appeals, major donor cultivation, special events and direct mail
campaigns.
Planned giving and capital campaign experience are a plus.

Candidate must be computer literate (WP 6.0 and Fund Master) and have
excellent
writing, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. B.A., 3
years
development experience, and successful development track record
required.
