The National Women's History Museum is pleased to announce the opening of a fellowship in Museum Education and Public History.

This program is open to graduate-level students and recent graduates in history, American studies, or a related program, including those at the doctoral level.

The Fellow will research and write print and digital content for student, teacher, and general audiences based on the Museum's current curriculum initiatives. The topics vary across American women's history. Content varies in length, according to each project.

Those who wish to gain further training in informal education initiatives that reach the K-12 classroom, and public history projects that make historical research available to general museum audiences should apply.

The Fellow will be based at the Museum's administrative offices in Alexandria, Virginia, and will report directly to the Education Programs Manager. Applicants must be available to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) for a full nine-month academic year, beginning in September 2018. A $10,000 stipend is awarded with this fellowship.

Please submit a CV, cover letter, three references, and a writing sample of no more than 1,000 words to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by COB on August 20, 2017.
