Micki,

You might consider getting some "period" music from some royalty free 
sources to play in the room.  Take a look at the following link:
http://www.productiontrax.com/

We haven't tried this source but we have others.  I don't have the links 
handy just now.  If you are interested, let me know and I'll see if I 
can find them.
