Personal Assistant, New York City
For our internationally renowned international art fair client we are
seeking an Executive Assistant to a UK-based Director with a regular NYC
schedule. The successful applicant will assist the Director during NYC
stays and visits and while UK assistant is on leave; oversee all aspects of
office management for the NYC fair; keep, organize, record and prioritize
the Director's schedule; manage and coordinate the Director's diary; screen
all phone calls and mail; correspond on the Director's behalf; make travel
and accommodation arrangements and reservations for the Director; maintain
contact lists; assist with invitations, RSVP schedules and attendance at
special events; attend meetings and take minutes; reconcile credit card
reports and expense claims; other duties as necessary. The ideal candidate
will have 3-5 years' experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant to a
Director, preferably at a major auction house, art fair, gallery or museum,
superb multitasking, organizational and communications skills and the
ability to prioritize while maintaining an always-evolving schedule. BA
required. Some travel. An excellent opportunity for an energetic,
