I know I've been filling up everyone's inboxes with reminders and calls for
submissions for the Spring 2016 issue of *RBM*. Well, I'm not done yet--I
have one more reminder and one *very* exciting announcement:

*Special Feature for Print Subscribers:*

Some of you may know that our friends at the Rochester Institute of
Technology's (RIT) Cary Collection recently acquired the Kelmscott/Goudy
hand press. That's right--THE Kelmscott/Goudy press. For those of you who
aren't familiar with it, this is the same press that William Morris used in
1896 to print his famous "Works of Geoffrey Chaucer."

To quote the Cary Collection's curator, Steven Galbraith, "The Kelmscott
*Chaucer* is considered to be among the most beautiful books ever produced
and a major influence on the modern private press movement." And in honor
of *RBM*'s 30th anniversary, they have agreed to print an insert on that
very same press for each print subscriber of the journal!

The insert is being designed by Jerry Kelly, an award-winning designer,
calligrapher, and printer. I've seen a draft of the proposed design, and I
can assure you that it's lovely.

There will be a very limited print run of these inserts: only 600 copies.
If you're interested in receiving one, I encourage you to purchase a 2016
print subscription to *RBM* as quickly as possible to guarantee that yours
is within those 600 subscriptions.

*Reminder About Submissions (and Extended Deadline):*

Submissions need to be emailed to me at [log in to unmask] Several
of you have begged for a little extra time, and I'm feeling so giddy about
this Kelmscott Press news that I'm going to extend the deadline: *December
1, 2015* will be my final offer (*February 1, 2016* for social media
tidbits). After that, the holidays will bog things down, and our peer
reviewers need time to work their magic.

I'm so excited to see this special issue come together--and I hope you will
be, too!

All the best,
Jennifer
