A case in Hillsborough County, Florida. The Board of Directors of the
local library was ignored because a County Commissioner was
against the library celebrating Gay Pride month. A policy was made to
take down a display of books by Gay authors.
I can easily see a museum board deciding on a religious basis that
the art of a Gay person could not be exhibited.
There needs to be awareness that the times are very much
amenable to religious bias shutting down the public sphere.
