We are looking into getting our first traveling art show, and need to devise
a hanging system that won't mar the walls (plaster over masonry) of our 1909
building. There is a picture rail which is currently being used to hang oil
paintings with S-hooks and a lot of picture wire. The exhibit features
smaller and lighter paintings, but they will need to be double hung in order
to fit the space. Is there a more elegant hanging system out there?
Also, my thanks to everyone who has responded to my frequent questions on
this list-serve, you have helped me and the Mütter immensely.
