Hi Rachel,

I'm not sure I know what you mean by documenting exhibitions (and if I'm not
the only one perhaps this is why you have not had any replies?).

What are you actually documenting, the exhibition development process? The
collections on display? Collections documentation techniques? Something
else?

If it is documentation of exhibition development you are interested in, then
'Behind the Scenes at the Science Museum' by Sharon Macdonald (ISBN 1 85973
571 1) might be a good source. This essentially documents the development of
an exhibition at the Science Museum, London, in 1989. Slightly older than
you're looking for, but perhaps a start?

Good luck,

Regan

Hi,

(The last time, I didn't get any response, so I'm trying again.)

Are there people who have experiences with documenting exhibitions?

I'm interesting in experiences at this time and experiences of 10 years ago.

Hopefully, I'll get any respond this time. For me it is very important: I'm
graduating my study of museology!

Best regards,
Rachel Bellwinkel
