I'd like to bring to your attention the seminar "Basic Building Blocks of
Museum Security" to be presented from 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm Tuesday April 29 at
AAM. This program will be directed to non-security people who need to learn
more about basic museum security and will assume a real world budget, not a
big museum security budget. The handout will fill a diskette and will be
provided in disk format. The Seminar presenter is Steve Keller, Museum
Security Consultant and former Executive Director of Protection Services for
the Art institute of Chicago. Moderator is G. B. Quinney, Director of
Security for the Birmingham Museum. The program is sponsored by the AAM
security committee. Other committee members will be available for a Q&A
sesion toward the end of the program.

Hope to see you there!

Steve Keller
G. B. Quinney
