CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The California Association of Museums (CAM) invites session and workshop
proposals that explore strategies, resources, and ideas for strengthening
museums and communities through technology.

The next CAM conference will take place March 3-5, 2010 in San Jose, a hub
of electronic innovation for over four decades. This conference will explore
how current computing technology is changing the way museums are fulfilling
their missions--and what is possible in the future.

The Program Committee is interested in assembling a conference program that
features a wide range of technology-related subjects and entry points for
learners at multiple levels.

Program proposals should explore how museum personnel can effectively use
current computer technology, explore its real and potential impact on our
industry, and address both the practical needs and philosophical interests
of our community.
