Check with the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art. They currently have the King
Tut exhibit and are using timed ticketing.

I am currently trying to make a decision about the need for timed tickets
for an upcoming exhibit. I work at a Botanical Garden so most areas of interest
are outdoors. However, much of this exhibit will take place in our
conservatory and we have capacity issues that often result in long lines to enter. My
questions regarding timed tickets are:

1. What methods have worked for informing visitors that there are timed
tickets.
2. How do you handle the cue? Do people line up only at the time that they
are allowed to enter? Do people line up for earlier times?
3. What experiences, good or bad, have you had with timed tickets?
4. What should I look out for?

Thank you in advance for any information you can give me. If anybody has
lots of information to share, I would be happy to call you if that is easier
then emailing.

Jen
