The Upper Midwest Conservation Association (UMCA) Presents the workshop:
Writing Grants for Conservation Projects

March 25-26, 2004 at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, 2400 Third
Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55404.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity for museums, historical
societies, libraries, and other collecting institutions to spend two full
days with an experienced grant writer to locate potential funding sources and
produce draft grant proposals with the goal of obtaining preservation and
conservation funding for their collections.

Reduced fees of $195 for this two-day workshop are available to institutions
with an UMCA membership. The general workshop fee is $245 for two-days

Institutions wishing to attend or requiring more information, may contact
Melinda Markell, Field Services Coordinator, at 612-870-3128.

The deadline for registration is March 22, 2004, however institutions may
contact the above number to check for space availability after this date.
