The conservation program jointly sponsored by the University of Delaware
and Winterthur Museum is directed by Joyce Hill Stoner, Chair, Art
Conservation Dept., Old College, University of Delaware, Newark, De.
19716-2539. This is a 3-year program with 2 years of study and a 1-year
internship. Students can specialize in painting, works of art on paper,
photography, furniture, textiles, or objects(glass, ceramics, metals) and
do have to learn the basics in all areas. Stoner is on sabbatical, but
the Assoc. Director of the program, Debbie Hess Norris, can be reached at
302-831-3696. I don't have an e-mail address.
