I have kept my silence throughout this entire thread, but now you have moved
from preachin' to meddlin'

Having worked with Gene for more than two years, back at the Field Museum, I
must take issue with "ugly ties"

Pots may or may not be the Liberty Bell, collections may or may not be
museums (and vice versa) and Eugene may or may not be worthy of appearing in
the subject line....

BUT, those ties were, and I assume still are, glorious.  The world, with or
without pots, museums or subject lines would be a lot better off if we all
took our neckware example from Mr. D

Of course, the fish in his pocket is another matter altogether
