Please address questions to [log in to unmask]

The Program Committee of the Bioneers SE FORUM is seeking artists,
designers and creative professionals of any kind who are based anywhere
in the Southeast, to participate as exhibitors, presenters, panelists,
speakers or performers in the Bioneers SE FORUM, October 28-30, 2005. It
is the goal of the Bioneers SE FORUM to include artists and cultural
arts presenters on several panels dealing with a range of social,
political and environmental issues and themes. We want to hear from
artists and creative professionals who have new ideas for solutions to
the pressing issues of our time-especially those issues that are of
special concern to our city and our region. These views and suggestions
may be conveyed through any means or media that the artist or arts
organization feels appropriate or effective.

Anyone interested in participating is requested to submit a proposal
describing a program element, such as a presentation, performance,
workshop, or other activity or exhibition that would enhance and support
the overall vision of the Bioneers and the Bioneers SE Forum. Proposals
that are accepted by the Program Committee will be included in the
schedule of events. The SE FORUM has certain resources to present a
wide variety of creative elements. However, funding will not be
provided, and all applicants must be prepared to provide all the
necessary equipment to support the execution or presentation of their
proposals once invited to be included in the SE FORUM. Proposals will
be considered in the context of these finite resources for presentation
on the premises during the dates of the Bioneers SE FORUM.

Such activities may include, but are not necessarily limited to:

*	activities that invite audience participation
*	demonstrations
*	distribution of printed materials
*	exhibitions and installations (subject to space limitations)
*	panel discussions (75 minutes max. inc. Q&A, etc.)
*	performances, including readings, spoken word, etc.
*	presentations
*	screenings or video installations
*	surveys
*	workshops

What is the Bioneers SE FORUM? www.inspiringfutures.org/bioneers

The Bioneers SE FORUM is a region-wide town hall meeting and progressive
summit focusing on sustainable and

equitable ideas, programs, services and technologies. The SE FORUM will
bring together progressive voices from across a wide spectrum of
industries, disciplines, interests and backgrounds. At least three
hundred citizens from across the Southeast are expected to participate
in conversations with business and community leaders, educators,
scientists, artists, designers and other innovators who are putting
practical solutions to work in the South and across North America.

The 3-day forum serves as a practical showcase of our region's most
effective sustainable and equitable products, technologies, business
models, public programs and non-profit organizations. By sharing the
models, case studies

and success stories that emerge when these nature-based solutions are
put into action, Bioneers inspires and catalyzes progressive change in
people and their communities.

The SE FORUM will take place at the Savannah College of Art & Design's
Atlanta campus at 1600 Peachtree St. N.W. over three days, October
28-30, 2005.  Estimated attendance is 300.  Registration is $20 a day
for students, seniors, working artists and activists. $95-$125 for
others for the weekend.

The Bioneers SE FORUM is one of eighteen similar events taking place
across North America in October under the name Beaming Bioneers. As a
Beaming Bioneers site, the Bioneers SE FORUM will present recorded
highlights from the national Bioneers Conference, taking place two weeks
earlier, October 14-16, in San Rafael, CA. (www.bioneers.org)
