Academy of Model Aeronautics and National Model Aviation Museum - Educator
 
Responsible for overall administration of the education program activities as initiated by the Executive Council, Education Committee, or Executive Director.
 
RESPONSIBILITY: Overseeing the member educational programs of the association.
Overseeing the member educational programs of the association.  Assist members, districts, and clubs in the development and execution of their
educational programs. Provide access to and promote the AMA’s National Model Aviation Museum's collection through on-site and outreach programming
Oversee implementation of all education programs, including new program elements, strategies, and equipment.
 
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education or related study. Experience developing and presenting educational programs utilizing volunteers.
Demonstrated success working with diverse populations, including K-12 school groups, volunteer organizations, and committees. Exceptional written, verbal, analytical, organizational, volunteer development, and interpersonal skills required. Excellent classroom and large group management and communication skills.
Experience in aeromodeling is highly recommended.
