Assistant Registrar for Photographic Acquisitions

The New York State Historical Association and The Farmers' Museum seek an Assistant Registrar for Photographic Acquisitions.  This is a temporary, part-time position that offers a competitive rate of pay with extra perks. Responsibilities include registering, cataloging, numbering and scanning new acquisitions; data entry;  limited historical research.  Requires the ability to maintain an accurate and timely workflow with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.  Bachelor's degree in relevant field; proficiency in digitization and databases with museum experience preferred.  Experience with PastPerfect and experience with photographic collections or knowledge of 20th century farming practice are both a plus.
