Position available for immediate start.* *Museum Curator (Field 
Programs) Contract Position in Support of the National Guard Bureau – 
Historical Services Branch* 1.17 Plan, develop, coordinate, and 
implement one National Guard Museum Training Course annually. 1.18 Plan, 
develop and implement one NGB museum/heritage/historical outreach 
workshop annually in conjunction with a civilian historical 
organization. 1.19 Coordinate one National Guard museum conference 
annually in conjunction with the Army Museum Conference. 1.20 Conduct 
liaison with five DoD service museums as required or directed. 1.21 
Conduct liaison with two civilian museum and their related historical 
organizations as directed. 1.22 Conduct liaison with three federal 
agencies as directed, to be identified by NGB-PAH as needed. 1.23 Review 
Army museum regulation AR 870-20 one time annually; prepare NGB comment 
as directed or required. 1.24 Review National Guard museum regulation 
NGR 870-20 annually, revising and updating after coordination with 
museum and Headquarters in the States & Territories. 1.25 Maintain 55 
National Guard museum files/databases for JFHQ museums, historical 
property, and NGB-PEC historical collection. 1.26 Monitor and assess 
JFHQ heritage outreach for 54 JFHQ as part of NGB/JFHQ PA STRATCOM 
mission four times annually. 1.27 Disseminate National Guard museum 
information to 54 JFHQ quarterly through official email (100%) and 
through mailings (as required); maintain National Guard museum 
information on public and GKO websites (100%). 1.28 Prepare JFHQ museum 
section of NGB historical program for the Army Historical Summary 
annually. 1.29 Edit the ARNG museum section of the Army Museum Directory 
annually. 1.30 Edit the ARNG museum section of the Army Historical 
Directory annually. 1.31 Conduct three staff assistance visits to JFHQ 
museums annually. 1.32 Attend two meetings of the National Guard Bureau 
Museum Advisory Council annually. 1.33 Prepare guidance to 54 JFHQ 
museums as required, in accordance with specified formats. ALARACT 1740 
dated 04 March 2002 provides guidance for the implementation and 
issuance of the Common Access Card (CAC) to all eligible government and 
contractor personnel throughout Army. The ALARACT requires that the DD 
Form 1172-2 (Application for Department of Defense Common Access Card 
(CAC) - DEERS Enrollment) be verified by the Contracting Officer, 
Contracting Officer's Representative, or a designated government 
representative. The Functional Representative for this order is the 
designated government representative authorized to verify and sign the 
DD Form 1172-2. The 1172-2 should cite the contract and delivery order 
numbers identified on the contract award document, DD Form 1155.
