Perhaps you all could get Museum-L the way I do.  I much prefer it this way,
and you probably will too.  I get only one message per day, but it is in the
form of icons on a page with subject lines underneath each.  I just click on
the icons I am interested in, in order to read the message contained within.
I don't know the command for this option, but you could ask the list master.
