It's my understanding (from the often inadequate news media) that the actions
noted below were taken to avoid a separate part of the virus--those servers
were targeted to be used to flood the web in a massive wave.  The part of the
virus that has been bugging us, as far as I know, will continue to the 10th of
September (unless people clean up their machines).
