The Park City Museum in Park City, Utah has an opening for an
Education/Public Programming Intern. The successful candidate will assist
with all aspects of the museum's operations, with a focus on education and
public programming, events, and tours. The intern will primarily assist with
our Spring School Group Programs and will be working with grades K-12. The
intern will also have the opportunity to work on other education projects,
which will be determined based on interests and experience.

This internship will provide an opportunity to acquire practical experience
in the museum field. The intern will work closely with museum staff to
assist with education programs, museum special events and public
programming, front desk and administrative tasks, and complete research and
write an article for the local paper.

The Park City Museum reopened after an $8.9 million renovation and expansion
in Oct 2009 and serves a variety of visitors, including the local community
and tourists. The collection is remarkably diverse in type and size and
museum programs include school and youth groups, tours, lectures and
classes, family activities, and special events.
