TOPIC: "MUSEUMS OF THE 21st
CENTURY --- what's next?"

> "Like many art museums, we here at the Whitney are quite fascinated by the
rapid development of thisnew medium. We are interested in exploring the ways in
which these new technologies will change (and hopefully enhance) the ways in
which organizations like ours can serve the various publics in our
> community. It is increasingly clear that art museums, in particular, are on
the verge of some profound changes, and the web seems to offer us all a
delightful and meaningful way to explore them."
