Exposure to light can change the color of wall paint over time,
especially inexpensive paint.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Painted Walls
We are experiencing something new with the paint on our gallery walls.
In the past when we switched out exhibitions, we merely retouched the
walls where the hangers had been. Now, we are finding that if we do so,
the paint doesn't match (even if from the same can). Does anyone have
any ideas why?
Thanks for your help.
