Hi from down under
There is article in National Geographic - September, about discovery two million
old sequoias and bald cypresses. The wood is NOT petrified, they are still wood;
they still could be burned. (says Sergio Vergoni from Umbria's  archeological
superintendency).
I am wonder if someone know e-mail or address to contact him. I would like to
know if any traces of larvae of beetles or other insects was found inside the
wood.
