Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Museums in Communities with Populations under 25,000

Dear Museum Discussion List Members --

We're working with a museum in a community with a population of about 20,000. I am interested to hear from those of you working in museums in communities of similar size -- say under 25,000.

I'd like to assemble several profiles of museums in small communities to support strategic planning discussions. To that end, responses to the following questions would be extremely helpful.

What type of museum are you?

  What makes your museum distinctive?

  What is your annual attendance?

How would you describe your successes and challenges?

  Thank you in advance!

  A.J.
