As a collection manager who virtually lives in the collections (my office is
a place to store things), I'd refuse to work in a collections storage space
that didn't have two exits. There's an alcohol-storage area next door (jars
of rodents--how charming) and I'm not amenable to flambe as a way of dying.
Besides, it would be a shame to build an expensive facility and then not be
able to use it because of safety regulations.
