As a collection manager who virtually lives in the collections (my office is a place to store things), I'd refuse to work in a collections storage space that didn't have two exits. There's an alcohol-storage area next door (jars of rodents--how charming) and I'm not amenable to flambe as a way of dying. Besides, it would be a shame to build an expensive facility and then not be able to use it because of safety regulations. > -----Original Message----- > From: TK Vancura [SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: May 14, 2000 1:47 PM > To: [log in to unmask] > Subject: fire exit in storage? > > I am designing a collections storage space and would appreciate opinions > on the pros and cons of including a fire exit.
