Hello all. We recently received a sizeable donation of military
artifacts, clothing, and memorabilia and are now looking to dispose of
some of the surplus objects. Maybe some other institution could make
good use of these objects. If anyone is interested or would like more
detailed info please reply off-list to this email or contact me at the
below phone number.
Here is a list of the objects we are looking to dispose of:
Uniforms from WWII era to present--
US Marine Corps uniforms (JROTC Dress Blues with white hat, service
uniforms, working uniforms, olive overcoats, garrison hats)
US Air Force uniforms (flight suits, service dress jackets, trousers,
and shirts, white mess jacket, caps)
Woman's Civilian Air Patrol blouse and skirt
US Army (Class A/service dress jackets, Eisenhower jackets, trousers,
shirts, overcoats; also have contemporary woman's class A uniform and
WWII era WAC uniform, caps, and garrison hats)
US Navy (blue dress jumpers and broadfall trousers, dress blues, caps)
Bayonets/Knives-
1 Soviet bayonet/knife with scabbard
2 contemporary NATO bayonets with scabbards
2 Spanish Army bayonets with scabbards
British WWI era bayonet dated 1907 (no scabbard)
2 WWII era Japanese bayonets (no scabbards)
WWII era Japanese bayonet with scabbard and frog
WWII era German bayonet with scabbard
2 Spanish Army short bayonets (no scabbards)
PR of China belt knife
WWI Russian uniform (tunic and trousers with Cossack greatcoat and hat),
most likely replicas
Yugoslav Army jacket and trousers (contemporary)
4 framed ink drawings by Stefanelli, supposed rescued from the Stars &
Stripes office in Times Square at end of WWII
Helmets-
Swedish WWII era helmet
German WWII era helmet (no emblems/insignias)
