Public Relations and Sales Coordinator

The Vermont Historical Society seeks a full-time Public Relations and Sales Coordinator based in Montpelier. The Coordinator conveys Vermont Historical Society's story to media, constituents, and the general public via press releases, social media, web content, newsletters, and other such public relations tools as needed. The coordinator also administers VHS retail sales at onsite locations and the online store, as well as managing the Museum admissions desk, guest service volunteers, and group tour business. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Bachelor's degree and experience in a public relations and/or retail environment required. Strong customer service and computer skills preferred. Starting salary $20.04/hour with generous benefits package.
