Job Summary       The Museum Naturalist is responsible for planning, 

scheduling, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating educational and
interpretive programs for the Alabama Museum of Natural History.  

 

      Additional Department Summary        

 

      Required Minimum Qualifications     Bachelor's degree or higher in
natural 

or physical science with experience in teaching/instructing in natural or
physical science programming OR four (4) years or more experience in natural
or physical science programming. Valid driver's license. General knowledge
of office procedures and responsibilities. Experience with personal
computers and software programs (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, and
databases). Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships. Self-motivated and ability to work independently.  

 

      Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications       Valid U.S.


driver' license. Must be at least 21 years of age and have an acceptable
motor vehicle record as determined by the insurance carrier.
