One of the small museums in Alaska where I did some contract work is hiring a new director.  I was asked to post the announcement on this list.  It's an AAM-Acredited, small, local history museum at the northern end of Alaska's Inside Passage.  To apply use the address on the announcement. The Haines Borough is accepting applications for the position of Director of the Sheldon Museum and Cultural Center.  This permanent full-time position reports to the Museum Board of Trustees, and is responsible for overall administration of all museum programs, strategies, bookkeeping, daily and maintenance of the Museum. This position functions as the primary liaison between the Haines Borough, the Chilkat Valley Historical Society, other agencies, the public, and the Museum.
