The Lighting Resource is featuring an article entitled
<A Suggested Exhibition/Exposure Policy for Works of Art on Paper>
written by Karen M. Colby. The article was first published
in 1992 in the <Journal of the International Institute
for Conservation - Canadian Group>. When Karen wrote this she
was describing a new lighting policy at the Montreal Museum
of Fine Arts.

Responding to a newsgroup posting on the internet,
Jane Ketcham formerly with Beloit College said, "It
describes a lighting policy based on three basic categories
of sensitivity, and provides lists of specific inks,
pigments, other media and supports in each category."

Karen Colby Stothart is currently Senior Project Manager in the
Exhibition Management Division at the National Gallery of
Canada, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and she is also the
current President of the Canadian Assoication of Conservators.

You can find it in,
